Background: In early stage breast cancer patient to preserving breast tissue by breast conserving treatment is popular there are many case of BCT in Srinagarind hospital.
Objective: Recurrence rate, survival rate of BCT in Srinagarind hospital and identify risk factor of recurrence tumor
Methods: Retrospective study 200 patients who underwent the BCT and long term follow up in Srinagarind hospital between 2000 and 2015
Results: From 200 patient underwent BCS median follow up ……. recurrence rate ….. Survival rate ….% in 5 year … % in 10 year . Important Risk factor with hazard ratio …….
Conclusions: Recurrence of Breast conserving treatment in Srinagarind hospital was low and good 5 year & 10 year survival rate. In addition to age, number of positive lymph node, size of tumor and pathological subtype were found to be an important factor affecting the risk of recurrence.
