Background: Epidemiological studies of AAA have shown an increased incidence worldwide, ranging from 4.2% to 11% per year. Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is an important cause of mortality. The mortality rate is about 80-90% when ruptured. The standard treatment are open surgery and endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR). The limitation of EVAR is anatomic characteristics of the AAA. There are few studies on the characteristics of AAA in the Asian population.
Objective: 1. To evaluate the characteristics of abdominal aortic aneurysm in Asian patient in 2010-2014
Methods: this retrospective descriptive study which reported data involving the greatest diameter of AAA, the neck (diameter, angle, length, %thrombus, %calcification), aortic bifurcation size, CIA, IIA, EIA, CIA (diameter, length, %thrombosis) and the Problem that limit patient for standard EVAR. Study in patient at srinagarind hospital in 2010-2014 which diagnostic of AAA and perform CTA and 3DCT scan
Results:
Conclusions: the study shown the characteristics of Asian patient and the main problem of patient is the angulation of neck
